An official opening of the Baku branch of the Pakistani National Bank will be held on 11 July, the Pakistani embassy in Azerbaijan said that it will be placed in 41 Istiglaliyyat St.,
Attending the ceremony will be the chairman of the managing Board of
the National Bank of Azerbaijan and a Pakistani delegation who arrived in Baku in this connection.
A relevant agreement on opening of the branch was achieved between the governments of Azerbaijani and Pakutsan in1999. However, it was delayed due to subjective reasons.
Pakistani side is sure that the opening of the new branch in Azerbaijan will promote the cooperation between the businessmen, enable the Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to expand the relationships with Pakistan.
