Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, visits Ganja and held a meeting with the local population on Saturday, Trend reports. The meeting comes as 13th in line, as she organized similar events in other regions. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Central Election Commission also participated in the event.
According to Suleymanova, the main subject of the meeting was elections. She noted that the complaints in the regions are related to the negative actions at the election committees.
The Ombudsman Institute developed an action plan for monitoring of the elections in 13 regions.
