Azerbaijan , Baku / corr . Trend I.Alizade / The Deputy of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament], Havva Mammadova, said that the Parliament has recognized Khojali tragedy as genocide. She said that presently the Parliament of Azerbaijan has passed 4 statements with regards to Khojali tragedy.
"All of these statements say that the Armenians committed genocide against the Azerbaijanis in Khojali. In addition, the order signed by the President of Azerbaijan and other documents with regards to Khojali tragedy recognize Khojali tragedy as genocide," Mammadova said.
On February 26-27 hearings will be held in the Parliament of Azerbaijan in connection with Khojali genocide.
