Azerbaijan , Baku /Trend, corr. U. Ismayilova / An insurance company, Standard Insurance has announced the results of its activity over 2006. Trend has been informed in the Insurance Company, that the total amount of insurance premiums collected by the Company in 2006 reached AZN 8, 3 4 mln. This is on 36% more versus the corresponding figures registered in 2005 .
In the reporting period, the amount of premiums collected on voluntary auto insurance reached AZN 3,81 mln. It is by 39% more versus the corresponding figure of 2005.
As results of 2006, the volume of premiums collected on insurance of ownership increased by 30% and totaled AZN 2,34 mln.
According to the Finance Ministry of the Country, the insurance premiums of Standard Insurance in 2006 reached AZN 8,39 mln. Its insurance payments in 2006 totaled AZN 1,97 mln.
