The First European Games in Baku have been organized at the same level as the Olympic Games, Ejnar Skovgaard Mikkelsen, president of Danish Taekwondo Federation told Trend June 16.
He added that the infrastructure in Azerbaijan doesn't differ from that of Olympic in terms of quality and level.
Furthermore, Mikkelsen said that Azerbaijan's taekwondo fighters performed very well.
Nevertheless, the fight for the prize-winning places will be difficult, since very strong taekwondo fighters are participating in the Games, according to the president of Danish Taekwondo Federation.
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28.
There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
