Azerbaijani gymnast, Ilya Grishunin, who won a bronze medal in the men's trampoline event at the Baku 2015 European Games, thanked the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, his coach, the audience who supported him.

"I am very happy that I was able to fulfil the expectations entrusted to me. I am glad that my coach is happy," he said.

"I haven't yet talked to my wife, child and mother, but I am sure that they are happy too," Grishunin added. "I am having indescribable feelings."

The athlete also said he had long dreamed of this medal.

The gold medal in this discipline was won by Russia's Dmitry Ushakov, while the silver medal went to the Belarusian athlete Uladzislau Hancharou.

The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28. There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.

More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe came to Baku to represent their nations over 17 days of competition. Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
