A new water reservoir built with financial support of Azerbaijan's Kapital Bank has opened and solves the problem of drinking water of Khojali refugees inhabiting the Agjakend district, Goranboy.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Khojaly executive power, Kapital bank delegates, and inhabitants of Ashagi Agjakend district.
This noble initiative of the bank has been approved by the local residents. It was stressed that the previously used old reservoir was unrepaired, so there were serious problems associated with drinking water. But now, Khojaly refugees may benefit from the new water reservoir which was built as a gift to them by the bank.
The Director of Marketing and PR Department of the bank, Vusal Naghiyev said the bank's socially responsible projects cover different areas. Supporting the government's regional development policy, and the construction of this new water reservoir financially supported by Kapital Bank in Ashagi Agjakend district is one of these projects.
"Kapital Bank aims to continue this kind of socially responsible projects in the future," he added.
