JP Morgan Chase & Co, the biggest U.S. bank by assets, has appointed Mustafa Bagriacik the senior country officer for Azerbaijan and Turkey, Reuters reported on Sept.25.
The new senior country officer will take up his duties from Oct.1 and be based in Istanbul.
Prior to this appointment, Bagriacik headed the Department of Investment Banking and Advisory for Turkey and Azerbaijan at Deutsche Bank. He also has 10 years of work experience at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
JP Morgan participates in financing of oil and gas projects of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and is one of the managers on foreign exchange reserve of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
