The State Administration of Radio Frequencies (SARF) of the ministry of communications and high technologies of Azerbaijan conducted a check of radio electronic facilities (REF) used on platforms of the BP company in the Caspian Sea, SARF told Trend Aug.25.
REFs, which are used on platforms, are being checked for registration, places of dislocation, as well as the frequencies they are used on, etc.
"Inspection of REF is conducted regularly on the basis of a written request of the company," SARF said. "In accordance with the results of the monitoring, no violations in the work of the radio electronic facilities at the BP platform were identified. The REF's work is provided at a high level."
Similar inspection will take place on the offshore platforms of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) in the near future as well.
