Russian Export-Import Bank, Azerbaijan's SMEs agency agree on joint projects

The Russian Export-Import Bank (Roseximbank JSC) and Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan have agreed on joint projects, Trend reports citing the Russian Export Center (REC).
Within the cooperation between the Russian Export-Import Bank (Roseximbank JSC) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan, a meeting was held with the participation of Head of the REC representative office in Azerbaijan Nuri Guliyev and the agency’s Chairman Orkhan Mammadov.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the potential for increasing the volume of financial and credit support for Russian exports to Azerbaijan, diversifying the portfolio of joint projects in the field of SMEs, as well as issues of enhancing cooperation between the REC Group of Companies and the SME Development Funds that are part of the agency on financing foreign trade contracts of resident companies of Azerbaijan with Russian suppliers of goods, work and services.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on detailed consideration on a regular basis of current potential and joint projects with the agency.
Responsible employees of the agency were also identified to inform SMEs of Azerbaijan about the financial tools of Roseximbank JSC, in order to form a register of potential Russian-Azerbaijani projects.
