The fees of the Azerbaijani Pasha Sigorta (Pasha Insurance) company increased by 15.7 percent or 24.4 million manat ($14.3 million) in 2021 compared to 2020 up to 179.2 million manat ($105.4 million), the Azerbaijan Insurers Association told Trend.
The insurance payments of Pasha Life company increased by 7.7 percent in 2021 compared to 2020 up to 75.1 million manat ($44.2 million).
The share of Pasha Life company in insurance fees in the Azerbaijani market in 2021 amounted to 21.23 percent while the share of payments - 16.37 percent.
The total fees of Azerbaijani insurance companies amounted to 843.9 million manat or $496.4 million (an increase of 15.8 percent for the year) while total payments - 458.7 million manat or $269.8 million (a decrease of 1.4 percent) in 2021.
