The CIS mission observers continue to hold meetings to study the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan, the head of the CIS mission headquarters Yevgeny Sloboda told Trend Oct.28.

He said that the observers will be working in all districts of the country, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The members of the monitoring mission have already visited Salyan and Neftchala districts of the country, said Sloboda.

In addition, the meetings of the CIS observers in the Prosecutor General's Office and the Supreme Court are scheduled, where the issue of considering complaints and allegations on possible violations of the election legislation will be discussed, he said.

In total, 147 observers from the CIS countries will arrive until October 30, said Sloboda.

Azerbaijan will hold parliamentary election Nov.1, with participation of 769 candidates.

As many as 465 observers from 36 international structures have been accredited in the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan for observing the parliamentary election. In total, the missions representing 53 countries will observe the election.
