The newly-elected President of Armenia and Acting Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan stated in Bucharest that he would not oppose meeting with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Novosti-Armenia reported referring to the Armenian Public TV.
"I would not oppose the meeting within the framework of one of the international forums, as long as the Azerbaijan's President is willing to do the same ," Sargsyan said to journalists.
On 3 April, Sargsyan visited Bucharest to participate in the NATO summit from 2 - 4 April.
