Tehran will host international workshop on the topic "Prospects of security and cooperation in Southern Caucasus", reporter and participants of which will be well-known experts and senior politicians, Tehran University said.

The Rector of the University Dr. Farhad Rahbar, former deputy secretary of Supreme National Security Council on foreign policy Dr. Javad Waidi, Project Director of Central Eurasia at the Tehran University Dr. Elahe Kulayi, Azerbajani political scientist Zardusht Alizade, former Minister of Science of Georgia, Caucasian Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development  Dr. Gia Nodia, political scientist and expert on the Caucasus Research Dr. Bahram Amir Ahmadian, Press-TV channel deputy director Hassan Beheshtipur, head of International Press Center "News" in Baku Ilgar Velizade, director of the Institute Central Asian and Caucasian Studies under the Foreign Ministry Dr. Alireza Kasai will address at the workshop to be held in Tehran University.

The seminar to be attended by experts from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, will discuss prospects for settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Abkhazian and South Ossetian conflicts, transportation of energy resources and Armenian-Turkish relations.
