Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu gave comments on the interview of Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan to Russian media.
Ohanyan's approaches to the situation in the region and settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are not surprising. He has repeatedly made such statements before. This time, Armenian minister said with higher tone that Russia and the CSTO attach confidence to Armenia, " Sabiroglu said.
He said that settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan to restore stability in the South Caucasus is an indisputable fact.
Delayed de-occupation of territories further complicates the situation in the region. Ohanyan speaks about everything except the Madrid principles. The reasons are known. Till the occupation policy remains in memory of Armenian power, a peaceful solution to the conflict will be in the background.
"Seyran Ohanyan, in his interview, recalling the military budget of Azerbaijan, accuses it of the militarist policy. The logic totally refutes these claims.
