Azerbaijan launched a blog today about the Gubadli region.

Gubadli is currently occupied by the Armenian armed forces.

The blog was opened by the Irali Public Union's IT Center at the following address: www.mygubadli.wordpress.com

Irali has created a series of blogs dedicated to the occupied regions under a campaign titled, "My Karabakh! My Azerbaijan!"

Over 10 similar blogs have already been launched, including:

1. Shusha (www.myshusha.wordpress.com);

2. Lachin (www.mylachin.wordpress.com);

3. Agdara (www.myaghdara.wordpress.com);

4. Agdam (www.myaghdam.wordpress.com/);

5. Fuzuli (www.myfuzuli.wordpress.com);

6. Jabrayil (www.myjabrail.wordpress.com).

The IT Center will launch several more blogs by late 2010.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan since 1992, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts. Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994.

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Russia, France, and the United States - are currently holding the peace negotiations.

Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council's resolutions on the liberation of Nagorno Karabakh and the surrounding regions.
