The Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh will insist on meeting with representatives of the Armenian community, Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh Region of the Azerbaijani Republic Public Association member Farhad Badalbeyli told media on Wednesday.
"The meeting will take place either in Moscow or other city," he said. "If necessary, we can meet on the frontline - in Agdam, Barda or Tartar regions. We intend to continue this policy."
He connects the denial of the Armenian community from the meeting in Berlin with the pressure of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Armenian side must make the initiative to conduct next meeting, he said.
The Armenian community will not meet with Azerbaijani community until the status of Nagorno-Karabakh is resolved, the "Foreign Ministry" of the separatist regime said last week.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan since 1992, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and 7 surrounding districts.
Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994.
The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Russia, France, and the U.S. - are currently holding the peace negotiations.
Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council's four resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding regions.
