The United States fully excludes military regulation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict,” Daniel Fried, the U.S. Undersecretary of State on Europe and Eurasia, stated in Baku on Thursday.
According to Fried, there are great possibilities for the sides to come to agreement at the current stage. “The leaders of the conflicted countries must develop compromise ways to ensure long-term and fair peace. Washington calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to this,” the U.S. diplomat stated.
Fried added that the United States closely cooperates with Azerbaijan and Armenia in this regard and looks for settlement ways of the conflict.
