An appeal made to int'l orgs in connection with the Armenian vandalism in occupied areas of Azerbaijan

On Tuesday the Association of Assistance to Civil Society in Azerbaijan and the Public Union to Protect Rights of Migrants and IDPs in Azerbaijan held a roundtable at the International Press Center titled Armenian vandalism in the occupied territory of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. Attending the event were representatives from the district executive powers of the occupied territories, prominent intelligentsia of the country and representatives from a number of non-governmental organizations.

The participants in the event made an appeal to the UN, UNESCO, the Council of Europe

, OSCE, heads of countries represented in the Minsk Group. The appeal contains information on war broken out by Armenia for annexation of Nagorno-Kагabakh to Armenia, tough result of aggression, its victims, destruction of historic, architectural and culture monuments in the South Azerbaijan and the occupied territory of Azerbaijan, which is currently called as Armenia, insult and destruction of sacred places.

The appeal addressed to international organizations, including UN, UNESCO, CE and the heads of the United States, Russia and France, which are the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, called on the use of decisive measures with respect to prevent the Armenian vandalism of the kind in the regions, where Azerbaijanis resided, and the occupied territory of Azerbaijan, and to stop such acts.
