Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has to be solved for the sake of young generation- PACE chairman

Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has to be solved first of all for the sake of the young generation, the chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Rene Van der Linden told in exclusive interview to MediaMax.

It is always hard to solve conflicts. However, when I visited the region I realized that both sides have a wish to solve the conflict. Of course, there are some people living outside of Armenia who push Armenian government in this or that direction. But I am sure that the future of young Armenians is more important than feelings those people. In our part we will make everything to possible to create to right environment, PACE head said.

Speaking about the perspectives of reaching the peaceful resolution this year, Van der Linden said; I believe in this. International community is willing to help; however, it is hard to solve problems if there is a lack of political will.
