Activities of foreign company in Nagorno-Karabakh violate int'l law ANAMA director

The activity of Holotrust organization is illegal, and its mine action in occupied territories of Azerbaijan violates the international law, Nazim Ismayilov, the Director of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) informed journalists, Trend reports.

The statistics of revealed and destroyed ammunitions in the international practices arent recognized with tones or kilograms, but per units. Each mine and each shell imposes danger, said director of ANAMA noting that the information of Holotrust isnt real.

Control of that organizations activities is impossible, because the organization functions in Nogorno Karabakh, Abkhazia, as well as several African countries which are away from international monitoring, stressed Ismayilov by saying that this organization especially chooses its territory of functioning in order to stand beyond the control.

According to the ANAMA director, the activity of Holotrust is supported by two countries the Great Britain and the Netherlands. Both countries finance this organization. However, as a response to the objection of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, it was stated that as though the organization is involved in humanitarian activities its activity is legal, said Ismayilov. He stated Azerbaijans serious disagreement upon with this organizations activities.
