The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict region informed Trend that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-chairs on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will visit Madrid on 14-16 December 2006.
The key objective of the visit is to update the next OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the Spanish Foreign Minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos, of the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs are also eager to hold internal consultations to study the results of discussions which were held with the conflicting parties in Brussels on 4-5 December.
Spain's undertaking of the next term of OSCE Chairmanship will take effect on 1 January 2007
