Tahir Tagizade, the Head of Public and Information Department of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, informed Trend that Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, arrived in Moscow to meet with his Armenian counterpart Vardan Oskanian. This evening (January 22nd) Mr. Mammadyarov is scheduled to have his first working meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the resolution for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Tagizade did not exclude the Armenian Foreign Minister's participation in the gathering. The major meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers is scheduled for January 23rd.
Mr. Mammadyarov travelled to Moscow from Kuwait, where he was for an official visit between January 20th and 21st.
