The Azerbaijan President's Apparat (administration) informed Trend that the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev launched a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs on January 24th 2007 on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Matthew Bryza (USA) and Bernard Fassier together with personal envoy of the OSCE chairman-in-office, Andrzej Kasprzyk, arrived in Baku yesterday evening (January 23rd).
After the meeting the President and the mediators are expected to have lunch with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, and will leave for Armenia later in the day.
