Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Т S. Ilhamghizi / Professor Yusif Halajoglu, the Dean of the History Faculty at the Istanbul University, during his visit to Baku stated to the press conference that two specialists on Armenian language from Azerbaijan will visit Turkey. This language is taught at the Istanbul University.
An Armenian Language Chair functioning at the History Faculty of the University needs specialists on the Armenian language. The western and eastern dialects of the language differ from each other and the archive materials on the so called 'Armenian Genocide' are written in the western dialect. A good command of the Armenian language is needed to study the documents. Turkey will apply for the help of the Azerbaijani experts to settle the problem. The specialists will deliver lectures in the University.
