Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Appeals to OSCE Minsk Group Member-Countries

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. I.Alizade / The Public Union "Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh" sent an appeal to the embassies of the OSCE Minsk Group member-countries in Azerbaijan and the OSCE Baku Office to protest against the general plan of the occupied district of Susha in Azerbaijan, which has been devised by the American Company SEMA. The appeal says that in occupied Azerbaijani lands, the Armenian Armed Forces have destroyed and burnt 547 architectural monuments, including 5 worldwide, 393 republic and 149 local architectural monuments, 205 archeological monuments, 927 libraries, 808 clubs, 85 musical schools, 22 museums, four photo-galleries, ten holiday and culture centers, four State theatres and two concert buildings.

Despite the fact that representatives of international organizations, including co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, pay visits to the region obviously see these brutalities, they do not take any measures. "We condemn the American company joining this issue and require Armenia to clarify this and put an end to the illegal activities of this company in the territory of Azerbaijan," stated the appeal. The appeal asks the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan to, in the near future, express its position on this issue and urges Armenia to refrain from such illegal activities.
