Armenians Dammed Up Canal Flowing via Azerbaijani Territories

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr Sh. Jaliloghlu/ Ali Aliyev, the Chief of the Irrigation System Department of Aghdjabadi District of Azerbaijan, has said today that Armenian Forces have dammed up the Mirzabayli Canal flowing via the territory of the Agdam District of Azerbaijan, occupied by Armenians in July, 1993, that caused the dehydration of three water reservoirs lying on the territory of the Vilage of Garakhanli of Aghdjabadi District of Azerbaijan.

According to him, the corresponding bodies have been provided with the data due to the situation hapening there. Mr. Aliyev considers that the driling of five artesian well might solve the troubles with water emerged in the Village of Garakhanli.

Due to the shortage of water aroused, dwellers of Garahanli Village cannot be engaged in their routine agricultural activities.
