Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Jaliloglu / Residential and propagated areas in the Terter region of Azerbaijan experienced a mass invasion of locusts.
The spread of locusts in the region was due to an ecological violation imbalance in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. A similar case was observed after a fire took place which was caused by Armenians in the summer of 2006. Locusts invaded the villages situated along the boundary, causing damage to the agricultural areas.
