Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 January / Trend / MIG-29 war-plane of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan crashed on 29 January not far from Baku leading to the death of both pilots, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
The plane crashed during the training operations. The instructor Fakhraddin Asgarov and pilot Afgan Aslanov died as a result of the crash.
The plane fell into the sea. The depth of the water was 15 meters at the crash site. Recovery works are being carried out in the sea at the crash site.
MIG 29 instructor planes are two-seated.
An inquiry is being carried out into the causes of the incident. Divers and helicopters are taking part in the search.
