Azerbaijan, Khachmaz, 25 October / Trend corr. A.Gafarov/ An accident occurred on the 2nd km of the Guba-Khachmaz highway on 25 October at 5.00pm (local time). A car (10-XP-447) driven by Guba resident Hamza Gasimov, 27, crashed into a tree.
As a result, passenger Chingiz Gasimov died on the spot. The driver and another passenger, 28-year-old Fuad Gasimov, were taken to the central hospital of Guba. The health status of the two is semi-serious.
The accident supposedly resulted from high speed driving.
The Guba Police launched investigation into the case.
