Fire at Tehran's Grand Bazaar injured 11 people, spokesman of the Tehran's Emergency Medical Service, Mehdi Fazilathah said.
"Seven of them were slightly injured and four, including two firefighters, who were in serious condition, were taken to the hospitals Sina and Firuzgar," Fazilathah said.
Fire began in one of the shops on Oct. 5, at 19.00 of Iranian time. Soon the flames spread to neighboring shops. The fire was extinguished as a result of the efforts of several groups of firefighters.
