A new building will be built on the site of a collapsed one in Baku on Friday, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Orujali Hajiyev said.

Two-storey building on the Ali Mamedov, 10/11 str. in the Rasulzadeh settlement in the Binagadi district of Baku collapsed. Nobody injured.

The building was on the balance of SOCAR. Today, operations to remove heaps will be launched today. All tenants will be temporarily provided with accommodation by SOCAR, Hajiyev said. A new two-storey building will be built for the tenants in the place of the collapsed one, deputy minister said.

About 11 families were living in the building, which was built in 1946, All residents were evacuated. Previously, the Emergency Situations Ministry warned residents about an emergency in the building, the ministry's employees told Trend.
