Snowfall was reported in the Iranian city of Ardabil, the Iranian IRNA news agency said today.
According to the agency, over 10 centimeters of snow fell in the Savalan Mountains in the middle of summer. Today the air temperature is 33 degrees in Ardabil.
The Savalan Mountains rise to 4,811 meters above sea level.
