An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale took place in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. The earthquake took place at 10:36 in the Caspian Sea (70 km east from Baku) Aug.30, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' Seismological Service told Trend.
The quake's depth was 50 km.
