Two residents of the Alat settlement were killed instantly when their VAZ 2107 car collided with a Ford minibus in the Garadagh district of Baku, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Trend.
VAZ driver Anar Azimov and his companion Valeh Garayev were killed in the crash, while his passengers Aziz Azizov and Elgun Mustafayev were injured.
Minibus driver Vagif Mammadov and his passengers Kichikhanim Bunyatova, Zarifa Ismayilova, Parviz Humbatov, Rena Khudaverdiyeva, Eldar Jabbar and Samira Zamanova were also injured in the accident.
The injured were hospitalized and physicians assessed their condition as satisfactory.
An investigation is underway.
