Three injured and a dead body of an Azerbaijani, who died in an explosion of a bus carrying the Azerbaijani pilgrims, are already in Azerbaijan and today they will be delivered to Baku, Ilgar Aslanov, the injured pilgrim's father told Trend today.

"They left Lankaran this morning, where they were delivered late last night and they are expected to arrive in Baku in the afternoon," Aslanov, the injured Elvin Aslanov's father told Trend.

Three Azerbaijani citizens Elchin Abdullayev, Elshan Abdullayev and Elvin Aslanov were injured as a result of explosion of a bus carrying the Azerbaijani pilgrims in the Iraqi province of Diala Oct.13.

The blast killed Intigam Rustamov.

The representatives of Vadi-Al-Najaf Company, which exercised the sending off Azerbaijani pilgrims to the Iraqi sacred places, delivered them to Azerbaijan.

The injured peoples will be placed in a hospital for further treatment, their health state is stable, Aslanov said.

This is not the first tragic incident with Azerbaijani pilgrims in Iraq. In January, a bus with Azerbaijani pilgrims was shot near the Iraqi city of Kerbala. As a result, a 16-year-old girl was killed and three others were injured.

In March, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry published a warning on the website with an appeal for Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from trips and pilgrimages to sacred places, located in the Iraqi towns of Mosul, Najaf, and Kerbala.
