Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations publicized statistics of accidents recorded in the country in fourth quarter of 2010. 7 explosions took place in the country in this period, one died and 10 were injured, the ministry's website reported.
About 1,126 fire accidents were recorded in Azerbaijan during the reported period. 21 were killed and 27 injured, one was rescued during the fires.
Rescue groups of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted rescue operations on 140 accident sites. 178 people were rescued and 6 died.
