One of the prisoners who escaped from detention center in the Goychay region of Azerbaijan was detained.
The 23-year old Elshan Eminov, who escaped from detention center two days ago was arrested as a result of search operations conducted by police in the Inja village, Goychay Region Police Department told Trend.
Search for another jailbreaker - 24-year old Khayal Asgarov - continues.
A criminal case under Article 304 (runaway from a place of imprisonment, from place of arrest or from place of guard) of the Criminal Code has been filed against Eminov and Asgarov.
Eminov is charged under Articles 177.2.2 (repeated theft) and 177.2.3 (theft with illegal penetration into dwelling, a premise, warehouse or other storehouse), while Asgarov under Article 234 (illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances).
