A soldier of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's military unit in the Shamkir region Bakhtiyar Ibrahimov died as a result of careless handling of weapon, a military source told Trend.
The 18-year-old Ibrahimov was enlisted by the Shaki Region Military Commissariat.
The Defense Ministry confirmed the fact and said the soldier died as a result of careless handling of weapon.
The fact is under investigation.
