An Armenian aircraft carrying humanitarian cargo on board was forced to land in Erzurum for security check, Turkish Foreign Ministry told Sabah newspaper.
According to Turkish TV channel NTV, a decision to continue the flight will be taken after the security check. Currently, security check is underway in cargo section of the aircraft.
Turkish authorities forced Armenian passenger aircraft to land at the airport in Erzurum city in the east of the country on Monday.
The aircraft was bound to Syrian city of Aleppo.
