Vice PM: Damage from rallies in Turkey exceeds 70 million lira

Damage from the rallies in different cities of Turkey exceeds 70 million lira, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said, TRT Haber TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the vice-premier, the main damage was done in the large cities of the country.
Rallies in support of the protesters in Gezi Park on Taksim Square,in Istanbul took place in different cities of Turkey. According to Turkish media, there is still tension in the park.
115 members of security forces were injured during the events that occurred in connection with the destruction of Gezi Park in Taksim Square in Istanbul. 58 civilians were also injured in the clashes and are receiving medical assistance.
On the morning of June 1, in the Turkish province of Izmit, a group of protesters tried to seize the building of the ruling party of Turkey. Local police dispersed the demonstrators.
