An airplane of 'Turkish Airlines' (Türk Hava Yolları), performing Milan-Istanbul flight, crashed into a flock of birds, Sabah newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when the plane was about to land. The collision damaged certain parts of the aircraft.
The plane managed to land safely.
None of the passengers was injured.
