Two people injured in a fire in Baku`s Binagadi district and sent to the Department of Clinical Toxicology are in serious condition, according to the Azerbaijani Health Ministry.
Two other injured people also sent to the Department of Toxicology, feel good and will be sent home in the evening. All four victims were sent to the hospital with a diagnosis of poisoning from inhaling smoke.
A fire occurred in a wood warehouse in Binagadi district of Baku as a result of which eight people injured.
The witnesses called "103" about the fire which was started at 8:30 local time, according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health.
Ambulance provided emergency assistance to the eight victims. Four of the victims were sent to the Department of Clinical Toxicology of the medical center, the other victims were provided outpatient care.
Two ambulances are on duty at the scene, as the fire in the warehouse has not been extinguished yet, the ministry said.
