Ten soldiers, Azerbaijani by nationality, willfully left the military unit, located in Dedopliskaroy district of Kaheti region, the Georgian agency Prime News reports.
At present the military are at the Ombudsmen�s office and want to meet with Ombudsman Sozar Subari. The employees of the Ombudsman�s Office met with the military in presence of the journalists of the Azerbaijani television. The soldiers explained the reasons for their escape with terrible conditions, stating that they did not feed them even.
The Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia asserted information. Elkhan Plukhov, the spokesman for the embassy, said that the diplomatic mission took under control the situation in Dedopliskaroy region.
