Commission of Inter-State Air Committee set to investigation of the Ka-32 helicopter crash in Azerbaijan

(ITAR-РўРђSS) The Commission of the Inter-State Air Committee (IAC) jointly with the Azerbaijan Hava Yollary (AZAL) State Air Concern set on 24 October to investigating the causes of the Ka-32 Russian helicopter air crash, IAC said, Trend reports.

"The Commission is comprised of civil aviation and aviation industry specialists of Russia”,the Committee said.

The helicopter performed the flight by the route Тrabzon-Gyanja-Тurkmenbashi-Islamabad. It was leased by UNO at the Krasnodar company for aiding the suffered from the earthquake in Pakistan. The air crash occurred on 22 October 140 km from the Gynja airport. All five crew members died. Their bodies have been identified and will be delivered to Russia in two days. Both “black boxes” have been also found and will be handed over to the IAC experts..
