3179 road accidents took place in the country in 2005, the head of the propaganda department of the Baku State Road Police Administration Vagif Asadov told Trend.
1065 people died at the result of the road accidents. 644 of them are pedestrians. The number of injured was 3668 people. 1907 of them are pedestrians.
