Firemen said to Gazeta.ru that fire started at 14:20pm [Moscow time]. The circular saw, which was used by builders during rescue work, produced sparks that led to inflammation of gas cylinders envisaged for sale or petrol leaked from cars, crashed by collapsed roof.
At present the area of fire comprises around 15 quadratic meters, but the firemen forecasted its expansion. Explosion of spray cans can be heard.
Victor Beltsov, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies, reported that the number of the dead increased up to 38, while the number of injured people remained the same (29).
