Azeris residing in Lebanon have problems with passports Honorary Consul

Many Azerbaijanis residing in Lebanon have problems with passports, which complicates their departure of out the country, Nazih Gassub, the Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Lebanon told Trend on 19 July.

According to Gassub, the exact number of Azerbaijanis citizens, residing in Lebanon is still to be defined, while prior to the armed actions their number was approximately 100. These students, as well as Azerbaijanis residing in mixed families.

After the commencement of armed actions a total of 30 Azerbaijanis have been evacuated from Beirut, which the majority of children accompanying their mothers. However, other Azerbaijanis, desiring to leave the country with their families, are unable to do because of absence of passports of any of family members, in particular, children. The Foreign Ministry of Lebanon is current arranging the things, the honorary consul added.

Gassub also noted that on 19 July the bombing calmed as compared to previous days.
