Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. K. Zarbaliyeva/ An police officer of the Sabayil District Police Department of Baku City has been killed. A source in the Interior Ministry of the Country has said today that during performing his duties along Nizami (Torgovaya) Street, Sergeant Amil Ibrahimov got a knife blow in the area of his neck, and his companion Sergeant Arif Ismayilov was knifed into his hand at the both policemen's attempting explaining earlier convicted Azer Zakiri, who was intoxicated, how he should behave in public places. Sergeant Ibrahimov passed away during sending him to hospital. Sergeant Ismayilov's state of health is estimated as satisfactory. Mr. Zakiri was arrested. A criminal case on the mentioned fact of murder has been brought against the criminal. The investigation on the mentioned fact has been initiated as well.
