No Azerbaijani Injured in Blast in Ankara: Ambassador

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Ismayilova / Zakir Hashimov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey, reported from Ankara on 23 May on absence of any Azerbaijani among victims of a blast in Turkey's capital city Ankara.

The ambassador noted that as a result of blast on 22 May at 18:45 [local hours] at the exit of a shopping center in the old part of Ankara Анкары 6 people died, while 100 people got injuries. They are citizens of Turkey and Pakistan.

According to the Turkish media, eight people were arrested in connection with the blast, while the authorities are still to confirm this fact. The investigation supposes Kurd separatists to the terror attack.

None of organizations has made itself responsible for the terror attack.
